If you’re interested in learning a little bit about bikes, you’ve come to the right place! Here are some pictures of labeled bike parts to help you get the lingo down:



Flat Tires:┬áThe number one reason people visit the co-op. Make sure to keep the proper amount of air pressure in your tires at all times (if you’re unsure of how full they should be, check the side of your tire. It will tell you in PSI. For example: Mountain bikes are usually between 40-60 PSI). If your tire is flat, do not ride on it! Bring it in to see us!

Sometimes, if it has been a very long time since you’ve aired it up, it could merely need to be re-inflated. If the tube has a hole in it, we will find it and either patch or replace it.
